Terms of service

The service and its operator#

Littleworks is operated by Benjamin David Kovacs. These terms apply to your use of the Littleworks website, Shopify app, hosted works, CLI, and agent connections. Contact admin@littleworks.app with questions before using the service. You must have authority to act for any store you connect.

Littleworks provides hosted JavaScript execution, document storage, authenticated Shopify GraphQL access, and controls for deployments and runs. Supported capabilities and limits are described in the documentation; features and availability may change.

Your store and your agent#

Only connect stores and AI clients you are authorized to use. Approving an agent grants it access to the connected store’s Littleworks works and data across Preview and Live. The agent can deploy and invoke code, read data and diagnostics, and change a work’s active version or pause state within that grant. Review your client’s requests and controls before approving access.

You are responsible for the instructions you give your agent and for reviewing, testing, and authorizing code used in your store. Connecting alone does not instruct an agent to create a build. Preview has separate Littleworks data, but permitted Shopify requests still affect the real store.

Your code and data#

You retain ownership of the code and data you provide, subject to any third-party rights. You authorize Littleworks and the providers used to operate it to host, process, transmit, and display that material as needed to provide the service and carry out your authorized operations.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions for data you process, including customer information. Provide appropriate customer notices and obtain any consent your use requires. Do not place credentials or unnecessary sensitive information in works, logs, documents, or support messages. Our privacy policy describes how Littleworks handles information.

Acceptable use#

• Use Littleworks lawfully and respect the rights, privacy, and security of others.
• Do not distribute malicious code, steal data, access another store without authorization, or expose credentials.
• Do not bypass the runtime sandbox, authentication, rate limits, usage allowances, or other service protections.
• Secure public endpoints and validate caller authorization where your feature requires it. An allowed browser origin or a caller-supplied order ID is not proof of identity or purchase.
• Do not use the service where an interruption or incorrect result could create a safety-critical risk.

Other services and limits#

Shopify, your AI provider, and other services you choose have their own terms, permissions, charges, and availability. Littleworks cannot expand your Shopify app scopes or guarantee an AI-generated result. You are responsible for any required storefront, theme, or other integration outside Littleworks.

Execution and storage are subject to the published limits and protective controls. A failed or timed-out run may have completed some operations; inspect its effects before retrying. Saved versions do not automatically undo data changes or Shopify operations.

Availability and billing#

Littleworks does not include a service-level or support response-time guarantee. Maintain your own copies of important source and data, and test changes before relying on them. Any paid plan will require separately disclosed pricing and billing terms; these terms alone do not authorize a charge.

Stopping use and service protection#

You can pause works, disconnect an agent, or uninstall Littleworks in Shopify. Disconnecting stops that agent’s future requests but does not stop deployed works. Uninstalling disables store access and revokes agent connections. For data export or deletion, contact support; uninstalling does not automatically erase all stored information.

We may restrict or suspend access when needed to address abuse, a security risk, a legal requirement, or a breach of these terms. Contact support if you believe access was restricted in error. We may change or discontinue features; keep backups of material you need.

Updates and questions#

Updates to these terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Where a change requires notice or agreement, we will provide it before relying on that change. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
